Brad Currie Back in Scotland Squad
Brad Currie has returned to Scotland’s squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup League 2 matches against Nepal and USA after missing the Namibia tour due to illness.
Batter Michael English has also been recalled after impressing with a century during his previous appearance against Namibia in 2024.
The squad announcement has generated excitement ahead of Scotland’s important fixtures in Nepal later this month.
Young Spinner Ollie Jones Earns Maiden Call-Up
Scotland have also handed a first senior call-up to 19-year-old spinner Ollie Jones following his strong performances at the Under-19 World Cup.
However, Hampshire batter Ali Orr was not included despite recent speculation about his selection.
Several players, including Chris McBride and Mackenzie Jones, remain unavailable because of county commitments, work responsibilities, or personal reasons.
