Domestic Departure Fee Cut by Nearly 45%
Domestic passengers flying out of Bengaluru will see their UDF fall from ₹550 to ₹300 per passenger, representing a reduction of roughly 45%. International departure charges will also decrease from ₹1,500 to ₹997.
What Will Arriving Passengers Pay?
From September 1, domestic passengers arriving at Kempegowda International Airport will be charged a ₹125 UDF, while international arriving passengers will face a charge of ₹426.
The revised charges are linked to the new tariff framework approved by AERA for Bengaluru Airport. Reports indicate that the revised rates will apply to tickets issued on or after September 1, subject to the tariff rules.
