She is expected to assume charge shortly.
Her father, Krishnakant Shukla, described the appointment as a proud moment for the entire family.
Father Shares the Story Behind Her Success
Speaking about his daughter’s journey, Krishnakant Shukla revealed that Priyanka did not clear the UPSC examination on her initial attempts.
Instead of giving up, she continued preparing with determination and eventually achieved success.
According to him, her perseverance and discipline played the biggest role in turning failure into achievement.
Continuing Her Grandfather’s Legacy
Public service runs deep in the Shukla family.
Priyanka’s grandfather, S.S. Shukla, was also an IPS officer in Madhya Pradesh Police and served as Superintendent of Police in several districts.
