Awarapan 2 Teaser Out: Emraan Hashmi Returns in an Emotional Avatar
The makers of Awarapan 2 have officially released the film’s first teaser, bringing back Emraan Hashmi in one of his most emotional roles. The sequel to the 2007 cult classic promises a darker and more intense journey filled with heartbreak, redemption and sacrifice.
Directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui, the film is produced by Vishesh Bhatt under the Vishesh Films banner.
Teaser Shows a Broken Yet Determined Hero
The teaser opens with Emraan Hashmi’s character reflecting on fate and suffering.
“The stories of some people do not end according to their will. Their stories are written for others.”
He is then seen standing on the edge of a building, seemingly contemplating ending his life before declaring,
“I have an old relationship with pain. This time either this awarapan will end, or me.”
The visuals suggest the sequel will continue the emotional and tragic tone that made the original film memorable.
Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi Join the Cast
Apart from Emraan Hashmi, the teaser offers brief glimpses of:
- Disha Patani as the female lead
- Shabana Azmi as the film’s primary antagonist
Their appearances hint at an emotionally layered story with powerful performances.
