The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 second-half schedule is expected to be announced shortly, according to Devajit Saikia, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
Speaking about the update, Saikia confirmed that the remaining fixtures will be released within the next few days.

Earlier, the BCCI had announced only the first 20 matches (till April 12). The delay in releasing the full schedule was due to assembly elections in several states, including:

- West Bengal
- Tamil Nadu
Now, the remaining 54 matches are likely to be scheduled soon.

Despite concerns over potential fuel shortages and energy issues, sources have indicated that the tournament will continue as planned.
