Battling Sensorineural Hearing Loss
The celebrated singer is currently undergoing treatment for sensorineural hearing loss, a condition that affects hearing ability and was reportedly triggered by a viral infection.
She first publicly disclosed her diagnosis in 2024 and has since remained away from recording sessions and public performances.
In earlier interviews, Alka Yagnik admitted that although music directors continue approaching her for projects, her health condition has prevented her from taking up regular work.
