UP Home Guard Result 2026 Released: Here’s How to Check Your Scorecard
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRB) has officially announced the UP Home Guard Result 2026 for the written examination conducted earlier this year. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment test can now access their results through the official website.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 41,424 Home Guard vacancies across Uttar Pradesh.
Over 1.07 Lakh Candidates Qualified
According to the recruitment board, 1,07,221 candidates—around 2.6 times the total vacancies—have qualified for the next stage of the selection process.
These candidates will now be called for:
- Document Verification (DV)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

How to Check UP Home Guard Result 2026
Follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official UPPRB website.
- Click on the UP Home Guard Result 2026 link on the homepage.
- Enter your Registration Number, Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on Submit.
- Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and print the result for future reference.
More Than 19 Lakh Candidates Appeared
The Home Guard recruitment examination witnessed massive participation, with over 19 lakh candidates appearing for the written test held on 25, 26 and 27 April 2026.
The provisional answer key was released on 7 May 2026, following which the evaluation process was completed.
What Happens After the Written Result?
Candidates who have cleared the written examination must successfully complete the remaining selection stages.
1. Document Verification (DV)
Educational certificates, identity proof, category certificates and other required documents will be verified across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Male Candidates
- 4.8 km run in 28 minutes
Female Candidates
- 2.4 km run in 16 minutes
3. Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify the physical tests will undergo a medical fitness examination. Final selection will be based on successful completion of all recruitment stages.
