Electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinto has launched the G1, its first family electric scooter, in India. The scooter is available in three battery options, with claimed ranges of up to 130 km and prices starting at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in January 2027.

The new e-Sprinto G1 is designed for families and everyday urban commuting. Buyers can choose from three variants depending on their range requirements and budget.
| Battery Variant | Claimed Range | Ex-Showroom Price |
|---|---|---|
| 2.0 kWh | 80 km | ₹89,999 |
| 2.5 kWh | 100 km | ₹94,999 |
| 3.0 kWh | 130 km | ₹99,999 |
All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The company has positioned the G1 as an electric mobility option for customers looking for a practical scooter for daily use.
Riding Modes and Performance
The e-Sprinto G1 comes with three riding modes: Eco, City and Sport. Each mode offers a different maximum speed to suit varying riding conditions.
- Eco Mode: Up to 30 km/h
- City Mode: Up to 40 km/h
- Sport Mode: Up to 50 km/h
The scooter has a claimed load-carrying capacity of 150 kg, 12-inch tubeless tyres and 165 mm of ground clearance. These specifications are intended to support everyday commuting and regular family use.
Features and Safety Equipment
The e-Sprinto G1 comes equipped with a digital instrument console and a Combined Braking System (CBS). Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both the front and rear.
The battery packs carry an IP67 rating, indicating protection against dust ingress and water immersion under specified test conditions. This rating does not mean the scooter is suitable for unrestricted water exposure.
Navigation functionality will reportedly be available through an optional subscription plan. However, e-Sprinto has not yet announced the subscription price.
Colour Options
The e-Sprinto G1 will be offered in four colour options:
- Charcoal Black
- Slate Grey
- Horizon Blue
- Pine Green
These colour choices give buyers several options when selecting the scooter.
Delivery Timeline and Availability
Deliveries of the e-Sprinto G1 are scheduled to begin in January 2027. The company plans to introduce the scooter initially in northern, western and southern India.
Customers interested in the scooter should check with authorised dealers for local availability, booking details and any additional charges applicable beyond the ex-showroom price.
e-Sprinto Expands Beyond the B2B Segment
e-Sprinto has primarily operated in the business-to-business (B2B) electric scooter segment. According to the company, more than 70,000 of its electric two-wheelers are already running on Indian roads.
The company has three manufacturing facilities with a combined annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units. The launch of the G1 represents an expansion into the family-oriented electric scooter market.
What the e-Sprinto G1 Means for Buyers
With prices starting below ₹90,000 and a claimed range of up to 130 km, the e-Sprinto G1 offers three configurations for buyers with different commuting needs. The top variant costs ₹10,000 more than the entry-level model and claims an additional 50 km of range.
However, the figures are manufacturer-claimed ranges, and actual distance per charge can vary depending on riding style, load, road conditions and other factors. Prospective buyers should also confirm charging time, warranty coverage, battery replacement costs and the availability of service support before making a purchase.
The e-Sprinto G1 is expected to reach customers from January 2027, with initial availability planned across northern, western and southern India.
