CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 Expected Soon
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 Second Board Exam Result 2026 next week.
Although the board has not officially confirmed the exact date and time, reports suggest the results could be announced once the ongoing Class 12 re-evaluation process is completed.
More than five lakh students appeared for the second board examination this year.
Where to Check CBSE Class 10 Result
Once released, students can access their results through the official CBSE portals:

Apart from the official websites, students will also be able to check their scorecards through:
- DigiLocker
- UMANG App
- SMS Service (Expected)
- IVRS (Expected)
CBSE is expected to announce additional result access details closer to the declaration date.
Details Required to Check Result
Students will need the following credentials to download their marksheets:
- Roll Number
- School Number
- Admit Card ID
After submitting these details, candidates can download and save their digital marksheets for future reference.
Over Five Lakh Students Appeared
According to available information:
- More than 5 lakh students opted for the Second Board Examination.
- Around 85,285 students registered for the compartment examination.
- Nearly 57,914 Class 10 students registered for both improvement and compartment exams.
The second board examination provides students with an opportunity to improve their scores or clear compartment subjects.
Previous Exam Performance
In the first phase of the CBSE Class 10 Board Examination, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.70%.
Key highlights included:
- 55,368 students scored above 95%.
- 2,21,574 students secured more than 90% marks.
- Around 1.47 lakh students were placed in the compartment or supplementary category.
Many of those students appeared in the second board examination to improve their performance.
Students Advised to Keep Documents Ready
Students are advised to keep their admit cards and login credentials ready to avoid last-minute inconvenience once the result link becomes active.
CBSE is expected to issue an official notification confirming the exact result date and timing shortly.
