Portuguese model Margarida Corceiro and Formula 1 star Lando Norris have sparked relationship buzz for months, but the pair has only recently made their romance public, finally confirming the long-running speculation.

Lando Norris wrapped up his Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship campaign on Sunday with a dramatic Abu Dhabi finale — and one very special supporter cheering him on from the paddock.
The 26-year-old British driver was visibly overwhelmed after securing third place, finishing behind Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri. Norris broke down in tears inside the cockpit before stepping out to celebrate the hard-fought podium.
Moments later, he shared an emotional embrace with his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro, who had been supporting him trackside throughout the tense race. The Portuguese model appeared equally moved as the couple hugged, marking a heartfelt highlight of the season’s final Grand Prix.
Afterwards, Norris joined his family for post-race photos, rounding off a memorable evening. Margarida has been one of his most enthusiastic supporters, and although the pair had been linked for months, they only recently made their relationship public, confirming long-standing speculation.

The pair officially stepped out as a couple during the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, reviving a rumoured romance that many believed had faded in 2024. Since confirming their relationship, they’ve been spotted together regularly, with Margarida becoming a familiar face in the paddock as she supports Norris throughout the season.
But her frequent trackside appearances haven’t been without drama — her growing media attention has reportedly caused irritation among some drivers and teams, who feel the spotlight shifts away from racing whenever she’s around.

Who is Margarida Corceiro?
Margarida Corceiro, 23, is a Portuguese model, actress, entrepreneur, and social-media personality. She started her modelling journey at just 10 years old and has since risen to become one of Portugal’s most recognisable young talents. Corceiro is currently represented by Central Models, a leading agency in the country, and has worked across fashion, television, and digital campaigns.
She has also carved out a steady acting career on Portuguese television, appearing in popular productions such as Morangos com Açúcar, Punto Nemo, and Hotel Amor. In 2020, she broadened her public profile even further by competing as a contestant on Portugal’s edition of Dancing with the Stars, earning significant media attention during the season.

Margarida has built a huge digital presence, boasting over 2.2 million followers on Instagram and more than 800,000 fans on TikTok, along with 13.1 million likes on the platform. Her reach has made her one of Portugal’s most recognisable modern personalities.
Beyond modelling, she has stepped into entrepreneurship as the co-founder of MISSUS, an eco-focused swimwear label where she also features in several campaign shoots.
Her portfolio includes collaborations with major global brands such as Intimissimi, Alo Yoga, and Kérastase, underscoring that her rise isn’t tied to her personal life — she has established a strong career of her own. In a significant milestone, Forbes Portugal named her the country’s most influential person on Instagram, cementing her status as a leading figure in fashion and digital culture.
When did Lando Norris and Margarida Corceiro start dating?
Although Lando often joked publicly about being single, those close to the paddock suspected he and Margarida had been connected long before they confirmed anything. Their first public sighting came in May 2023, shortly after Margarida’s reported split from footballer João Félix, now at Barcelona.
The duo were seen driving together in Monaco, immediately triggering speculation among F1 fans. By April 2024, they were photographed again at the Monte Carlo Masters final, but both continued to avoid addressing the rumours.
Their relationship finally became official in August 2025, when they appeared together at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The couple walked the paddock side by side, and later shared a celebratory kiss following Lando’s win — a moment that essentially confirmed what fans had been guessing for months. Since then, Margarida has become a consistent presence at race weekends, cheering Norris on from trackside.

Model’s F1 race attendance causes a stir
Margarida’s growing visibility in the paddock hasn’t gone unnoticed — or uncriticised. Her frequent appearances have stirred debate within F1 circles, with some drivers suggesting the broadcasts occasionally focus more on celebrity partners than the racing itself.
Former McLaren teammate Carlos Sainz voiced his frustration after the Singapore Grand Prix, telling Spain’s El Partidazo de COPE that TV crews “go a little overboard showing celebrities and girlfriends,” adding that important on-track moments were being missed.

Sainz further explained his stance, saying:
“I understand that if there’s an overtake or a particularly tense moment in the race, the production team might want to cut to a reaction shot — it has worked before. But it should only happen when it doesn’t detract from the competition itself.”
Margarida, however, has pushed back against the idea that she seeks attention. Speaking to Jornal de Noticias, she clarified that she has no technical knowledge of Formula 1 and is present solely to support Lando.
“I don’t call the cameras. If they film me, they film me,” she said. “Sometimes I don’t even realise I’m being recorded.”
