winter storm warning

A strong late-season winter system is bringing significant snowfall across parts of Teller County today, creating difficult travel conditions and chilly temperatures across the region.

Snowfall is expected to add an extra 4–8 inches in many areas, with higher elevations and east-facing slopes possibly receiving up to 10 inches. Nearby areas like Monument and Castle Rock are also seeing lighter accumulations of around 1–2 inches.

Travelers along the busy Interstate 25 corridor should be cautious, as snow-covered roads and reduced visibility may make driving hazardous.
