The Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) have officially declared the RMS Result 2026 for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted for admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic session 2026–27. Along with the result declaration, RMS has also released category-wise cut-off marks and issued interview e-call letters for shortlisted candidates on 09 February 2026.
The written examination for both Class 6 and Class 9 was held on 07 December 2025. After the exam, the answer keys were published on 11 December 2025, and candidates were allowed to raise objections till 17 December 2025. Following the resolution of objections and finalisation of the answer keys, RMS has now announced the final results and cut-off marks for the interview stage.
🔹 RMS Class 6 Cut-off Marks 2026
For Class VI, the cut-off marks differ based on category and gender.
- JCOs & OR (General):
- Boys: 129
- Girls: 132
- Civilians (General):
- Boys & Girls: 138
- SC/ST Categories:
- Cut-offs are lower compared to General categories
- Killed in Action Category:
- Boys: 84
- Girls: 90
🔹 RMS Class 9 Cut-off Marks 2026
For Class IX, cut-offs are relatively higher, particularly in civilian categories.
- Civilians (General):
- Boys: 167
- Girls: 173
- JCOs & OR (General):
- Boys: 149
- Girls: 155
In certain categories, especially SC/ST girls under Officers and Civilian categories, vacancies are marked as NA due to non-availability of seats.

As per provisional data:
- Total Seats: 507
- Class VI: 358 seats
- Class IX: 149 seats
Seats under the Killed in Action category are additional and not included in the total count.

Candidates who have qualified as per the cut-off marks can now download their interview e-call letters from the official RMS admission portal. The interview round is a critical stage of the admission process and evaluates the overall suitability of candidates for admission to Rashtriya Military Schools.
