India Post has already released the first merit list for GDS Recruitment 2026 on March 6, 2026. Candidates across the country are now eagerly waiting for the second merit list.
However, the department has not officially announced the release date for the next list yet.

👉 Why?
After document verification (DV), some candidates fail to complete the process, leaving vacancies unfilled. These seats are then filled through subsequent merit lists.

⚙️ SELECTION PROCESS
- ❌ No written exam

📑 WHAT TO DO IF SELECTED?
If your name appears in the second merit list:
- 📂 Carry original documents + 2 photocopies
- 🪪 ID proof, Class 10 marksheet, caste certificate (if applicable)
- 🏥 Medical examination required
- 📜 Final appointment letter issued after verification

👉 If your name is not in the second list:
- More lists may be released (sometimes up to 6th or 7th list)
