16 Muslim Nations Protest Israel’s: Somaliland Move, Call It Violation of Somalia’s Sovereignty

A group of 16 Muslim-majority nations, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, have strongly condemned Israel over its decision to appoint a diplomatic representative in Somaliland.

In a joint statement issued in Doha, the countries described Israel’s move as a direct violation of the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Somalia.
