Indian cricketer Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, got married to Saaniya Chandhok in a grand ceremony held in Mumbai on March 5.
The wedding took place at a private venue in South Mumbai and was attended by family members, close friends and many well-known personalities from sports, entertainment and business.
The celebrations brought together several prominent figures, making the wedding one of the most talked-about events in the cricketing world.
Weeks of Wedding Celebrations
The wedding followed several pre-wedding events that had been taking place over the past few weeks.
Arjun and Saaniya had earlier announced their engagement on August 25 last year, which sparked excitement among fans and the cricket fraternity. Since then, a series of celebrations and functions were organised before the main ceremony.

Several former and current cricket stars were seen attending the ceremony to celebrate the couple’s big day.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan attended the event with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker also joined the celebrations with his family.

Who is Saaniya Chandhok?
Saaniya Chandhok belongs to a well-known business family in Mumbai but has largely stayed away from public attention.
Her family has a strong presence in the hospitality and food industry. The legacy traces back to entrepreneur Iqbal Krishan “IK” Ghai, who founded the iconic Kwality Ice Cream brand and was associated with the InterContinental hotel on Mumbai’s Marine Drive.
The family’s business ventures are currently linked with Graviss Hospitality Ltd, which also manages Baskin‑Robbins operations in India.
Saaniya studied at the London School of Economics and works as a veterinary technician. She also runs a luxury pet spa in Mumbai called Mr Paws.
Grand Pre-Wedding Celebrations
Before the wedding ceremony, several events were organised for the couple.
Their mehendi ceremony took place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, while a grand pre-wedding celebration was hosted in Jamnagar by the Ambani family.
